Prep to Year 2 Mini Olympics

What a great day - we had 9 different countries represented at our Mini Olympics - Australia, Greece, France, Indonesia, Italy, Ireland, New Zealand, France and Great Britain.

The students had a ball participating in 9 "Olympic" Events - some were a little inventive but still fun!

The events were - Equestrian, Rowing, Swimming, Shot Put, Volleyball, Soccer, Gymnastics, High Jump and the Egg and Spoon Race.

Everyone enjoyed themselves and strived for personal best

Numeracy Week at Lara PS

During the week the whole school participated in a numeracy walk.

Each class put up 2 questions for the whole school to solve.

Some questions were easy to solve, some we had to put on our thinking caps to solve and some we worked as a team to solve.
